National Park Service - Passport to your National Parks

The National Park Service preserves unimpaired the natural and cultural resources and values of the National Park System for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration of this and future generations. The Park Service cooperates with partners to extend the benefits of natural and cultural resource conservation and outdoor recreation throughout this country and the world.

Passport Program

The Passport program was started in 1986 by Eastern National Parks Association. It was established to help visitors discover the beauty and history found in America's National Parks. These stamps record the name of the park and the date of your visit.

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service - Blue Goose Passport Program

The mission of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is working with others to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, plants, and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people.

Passport Proram

The Blue Goose Passport is designed to record your visits to national wildlife refuges. All refuges open to the public are in the Passport, as are National Fish Hatcheries. For the most up-to-date information, find national wildlife refuges online.

Some refuges are administered from offices in nearby towns and do not have an office or visitor facility at the refuge. Some refuges may not have a provision to stamp or cancel your passport. If you visit after hours or at unstaffed locations, simply record the date of your visit to keep a record of your travels.

National fish hatcheries are also managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Hatcheries are interesting places to visit. Many offer special exhibits and aquariums, where you can learn about endangered species and fisheries conservation. Recreational fishing opportunities are also available. Refuges and hatcheries are listed alphabetically within their state. Refuges with offices or visitor facilities usually have a space to stamp your passport. For sites closed to the public, use the stamp area for your own notes.

U.S. Lighthouse Society National Passport Program

The Lighthouse Passport Program provides enthusiasts the opportunity to help preserve lighthouse as well as a wonderful way to keep a pictorial history of their lighthouse adventures.  Small donations made by Passport holders generates thousands of dollars for lighthouse restoration and preservation projects.  By joining the free Passport Club you become part of a large group of individuals and families seeking unique Lighthouse Passport Stamps as a fun and educational activity.    

Pennsylvania State Parks and Forests

This 135-page passport includes maps, a history of the state’s park and forest system, a brief description and most memorable feature of each state park and forest, and additional online resources. Participants can track their visits to our public lands by initialing their book or having it stamped at the park or forest office. The Pennsylvania Passport not only guides people to our state parks and forests, but it also breaks down interest areas and challenges users to complete each area to receive recognition for their accomplishments with a special metal "dog tag" for the theme.
